# Collaborate on Questionnaires

## Overview
Collaborating on questionnaires is simple with Conveyor. You can assign questions to teammates or entire groups, manage workload in bulk, and even let **ConveyorAI** suggest the best groups to handle flagged or unanswered questions.
This guide walks through setting up Groups, assigning questions, and using AI-powered delegation suggestions.

## Setting up Groups
Before collaborating on questionnaires it's good practice to make sure your Groups are configured.
Click **Settings** in the upper-right of your **Security Questionnaires Workspace** to create or edit Groups.
Click **Add a Group** in the modal
Each Group can be given:
* **Name** - for example, “Legal,” “Privacy,” or “Security.” *(Required)*
* **Color** - for easy visual reference. *(Required)*
* **Members** - Conveyor users who receive notifications when assigned. *(Optional)*
* **AI Suggestion Instructions** - add short descriptions of each group’s responsibilities to improve AI recommendations. *(Optional)*
### **Tip:**
Even if a group has no members yet, you can still use it for color-coding and tracking progress.

## Assigning questions to teammates or groups
You can use the **“Assign”** button to assign a person or group to a specific question. Assignments help route questions to the right subject matter experts for review.

## Assign questions in bulk
To assign multiple questions at once:
1. Select the checkboxes next to the questions you want to assign.
2. Click **Bulk update → Update assignee**.
3. Choose the group or user to assign.

## AI-powered delegation suggestions
After ConveyorAI drafts answers, it can automatically recommend Groups to handle **flagged** or **unanswered** questions.
Choose how it behaves under **Settings → Workflow Automation → Team Routing:**
| Option | What happens |
| -------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Don't route questions** | ConveyorAI won't suggest Groups. |
| **Suggest a group for my approval** | ConveyorAI recommends a Group and waits for you. A **Suggestions** button appears in the top-right of the Answers tab, where you can review which questions map to which Group and accept in bulk or per Group. |
| **Assign the suggested group automatically** | The suggested Group is assigned with no manual accept step, and its members are notified right away. |
Click into the suggestions to review which questions are assigned to which groups.
You can **accept all suggestions** or approve them **group-by-group**.
Once accepted, the group becomes the official **Assignee**, and its members receive notifications—just as if you had assigned them manually.

## Completing Assigned Questions
Once a question is assigned the assigned users or group members receive a **notification**. This can come through Email or Slack, depending on the users notification preferences.
Following the link in the notification will take assigned users to a view where they can complete all questions assigned to them or to a group they are part of. They simply type in the answer and select **"Good to Go"**
When they update or approve answers, progress is automatically tracked on the questionnaire.
