Prerequisites: Knowledge Library with multiple content sources (Q&As, documents, external sources)
AI Librarian automatically detects conflicting information across your Knowledge Library and recommends resolutions. Instead of discovering inconsistencies when they surface in customer-facing answers, AI Librarian proactively identifies conflicts between your sources—like when a Curated Q&A contradicts your SOC 2 report—and suggests which source should take precedence.
Accessing AI Librarian
Navigate to Knowledge Base. If conflicts exist, you'll see an AI Librarian banner at the top of the page showing the number of items needing review.

Click the banner to open the AI Librarian view, which displays two tabs: Suggestions to Review (conflicts awaiting your decision) and Completed (previously resolved items).

Reviewing and resolving conflicts
AI Librarian surfaces Conflicting Sources, instances where two or more sources in your Knowledge Library provide contradictory information on the same topic.

For each conflict, AI Librarian shows the conflicting sources side-by-side with a clear explanation of why it flagged a conflict (for example, two versions of a document listing different app names or categorizations). You can review the content from each source, then choose to Accept the suggestion, Reject it, or Disable this Section if the flagged content shouldn't be used for question answering.

How often does AI Librarian scan for conflicts?
AI Librarian runs continuously in the background. New conflicts appear as they're detected.
What types of conflicts does AI Librarian detect?
Currently, AI Librarian detects conflicts between Curated Q&As and other sources. Document-to-document conflict detection is on our roadmap.
Will accepting a suggestion automatically update my Knowledge Library?
Yes. When you accept a resolution, the conflicting source is updated immediately.
