Notion Integration

Overview

Conveyor allows you to import content from your Notion pages and databases to your knowledge base.

Steps

Navigate to your Knowledge Base and click Add Knowledge -> Notion.

If this is your first time adding the Notion integration to Conveyor, the Notion Connect Portal will pop up, requesting your permission to connect.

Once you've connected, you can choose the Notion workspace and the pages or databases within that workspace that you want Conveyor to be able to access.

Once you've selected your pages, you can click "Allow Access". Once Conveyor has finished syncing your selected pages, you will be able to see tiles depicting your Notion pages on the "External Sources" tab of your Knowledge Base.

Adding Product Lines to your Notion pages

Click "Edit Source" on your Notion source in the External Sources tab in your knowledge base.

Add your Product Lines to your source and then click "Save and Sync".

How Notion Content Is Used

Like all external sources, Notion content is for ConveyorAI's use only. It does not appear on your Trust Center. ConveyorAI draws on your Notion content to draft answers to questionnaires and respond to questions. Customers only see ConveyorAI's responses, never the underlying source material.

The Trust Center Agent does not use Notion content. The Trust Center Agent draws from published documents, curated Q&As, and Trust Center page content.

Controlling Access

What Conveyor can access in Notion. During setup, Notion's page picker lets you select exactly which pages and databases Conveyor can access. Conveyor cannot access anything else in your workspace. Selecting a parent page includes its children. You can update your selection at any time.

How ConveyorAI uses your Notion content. You have several options for controlling how Notion content is used:

  • Product lines: Scope a Notion source to specific product lines so ConveyorAI only uses it in matching contexts. Sources with no product lines are available across all contexts.
  • Deactivate: Temporarily remove a Notion source from your Knowledge Library without losing your connection or sync settings. Reactivate at any time.
  • Delete: Permanently remove a Notion source and all synced content from Conveyor.

Sync Behavior

Notion sources sync automatically on a daily basis. Changes in Notion are reflected after the next sync. Deleted pages or removed database rows are automatically removed from your Knowledge Library.

Privacy

This integration is powered by Paragon. Content flows through and may be temporarily stored on Paragon servers in the USA. Paragon has been reviewed and secured in accordance with Conveyor's compliance commitments.
