📥 Importing Questionnaires
Time to complete: 5–10 minutes
Prerequisites: You’ve Populated Your Knowledge Library and Configured Answer Sources.
Overview
Conveyor supports importing questionnaires in multiple ways — whether they’re uploaded files, portal links, or created automatically via an integration.
Once imported, ConveyorAI extracts the questions, drafts responses based on your Answer Sources, and allows you to review and export them in the original format.
Ways to add a questionnaire
You can create a new questionnaire in several ways:
| Method | Description | Where to learn more |
|---|---|---|
| In the Conveyor app | Upload a spreadsheet, Word doc, or PDF directly. Additionally, provide a link to a portal or online doc. | Add in-app questionnaire |
| Browser Extension | Import from a customer portal or online form (e.g., OneTrust, Whistic). | Importing from Portals using Browser Extension |
| Salesforce integration | Add a questionnaire directly from a Salesforce record, keeping both systems synced. | Upload from Salesforce |
| API | Programmatically create questionnaires through Conveyor’s public API. | POST Questionnaires API ↗ |
Tip: The in-app upload option is the fastest way to start if you’re new to Conveyor.
Adding in the Conveyor app
You can add questionnaires inside the Conveyor App by going to Security Questionnaires → Workspace and clicking Add Questionnaire.

Clicking "Add Questionnaire" will let you start the process of adding a questionnaire to your account.
