This tool helps you inspect how well your Knowledge Base covers different information security topics. Over the years, Conveyor has seen many questionnaires across many different industries, so we are able to curate a list of questions we think encompasses the vast majority of what you might see in a questionnaire. We call this our benchmark set of questions.

We have broken down our benchmark questions into 23 different categories, and within those categories we further breakdown questions into sub-categories.

When you visit the Knowledge Base Explorer for the first time, you will see a button to trigger the benchmark analysis.

Our benchmark question set is quite extensive, so this analysis can take some time (please give it around 2-3 hours). You will be notified by email and in-app notification when it is complete.

Once it's complete, you will see the results split by "Categories to improve" and "Well-covered categories". Well-covered means that ConveyorAI was able to answer 85% or more of the questions in that category.

For any category, you can see how many questions there were in that category, as well as how many questions we could not answer. The coverage bar for each category shows the percentage coverage for that category.

If you click the category, you can see the questions that we could not answer. These are the "gaps" in your Knowledge Base.

Clicking a row with a question icon will pop open a modal for you to add that question into your list of Curated Q&As. You can answer it and save it if you know the answer, or you can delegate it to a teammate to answer.

As you and your team answer Curated Q&As, you will see your coverage percentage go up for the category, and overall. This reflects your Knowledge Base improving coverage in areas it did not cover before.

If you added non-Curated Q&A sources and want to see how that affects your coverage, you can rerun the benchmark analysis. This will also take some time, but can vary depending on how many questions ConveyorAI was able to answer the first time through. You will also receive an email and in-app notification when the analysis is complete.
