Explorer analyzes your Knowledge Library coverage against Conveyor's benchmark question set—a curated collection of questions drawn from thousands of questionnaires across industries. Instead of guessing where your knowledge falls short, Explorer shows you exactly which topic areas need attention so you can prioritize content additions strategically.
How the benchmark works
Conveyor's benchmark question set encompasses the vast majority of questions you'll encounter in security questionnaires. These questions are organized into 23 categories (such as Data Security, Access Control, and Incident Response), with further breakdowns into sub-categories for more granular analysis.
Running your first benchmark analysis
Navigate to Knowledge Base > Explorer. On your first visit, click the button to trigger the benchmark analysis.
The benchmark analysis evaluates your entire Knowledge Library against our question set, which can take 2–3 hours to complete. You'll receive an email and in-app notification when it's ready.
Access Explorer from the top navigation under Knowledge Base.
Understanding your results
Once complete, Explorer displays your results in two sections: Categories to improve and Well-covered categories. A category is considered well-covered when ConveyorAI can answer 85% or more of the questions in that category.
Results are split by categories needing improvement and well-covered categories, with coverage percentages.
For each category, you can see the total number of questions, how many ConveyorAI couldn't answer, and a coverage bar showing the percentage. Click any category to drill down into the specific questions that represent gaps in your Knowledge Library.

Filling coverage gaps
Click any question row to open a modal where you can add that question directly to your Curated Q&As. If you know the answer, you can enter it and save immediately. If not, delegate it to a teammate.

As you and your team answer these questions, your coverage percentage increases for both the category and overall, giving you a clear measure of Knowledge Library improvement.
Re-running the benchmark
If you've added new sources (documents, external sources, or past answers) and want to see how they affect your coverage, you can re-run the benchmark analysis. Processing time varies depending on how many questions ConveyorAI answered in the previous run. You'll receive an email and in-app notification when complete.

How long does the benchmark analysis take?
The initial analysis typically takes 2–3 hours. Re-runs may be faster depending on your existing coverage.
What does "well-covered" mean?
A category is well-covered when ConveyorAI can answer 85% or more of the benchmark questions in that category.
Do I need to add every gap question to my Knowledge Library?
No. Focus on categories most relevant to your industry and the questionnaires you typically receive. Explorer helps you prioritize, not mandate.
