In September 2026, Conveyor began rolling out a new-and-improved Agentic answer engine.

🚀 Why you should care

ConveyorAI's ability to provide accurate, customer-ready answers helps you shorten SLAs, close deals faster, and win over your customers. And now, ConveyorAI is even better:

Better source retrieval: Our Agentic answer engine does a better job leveraging relevant sources in their entirety. This can include leveraging source documents in their entirety where appropriate (e.g., in answering "Summarize our security posture"), or finding the relevant Q&A pair, external source, etc.
Better planning: When given a questionnaire or RFP, the Agentic answer engine will plan ("orchestrate") its approach before it begins answering any single question. This can include answering sections linearly so they read better, with less repetition. Or it might include understanding instructions that are scattered throughout the questionnaire.
More context-aware: The Agentic answering engine retains more of the context around each question. This includes RFP Background Materials (no more losing all the helpful context in RFP briefs!), custom instructions (ConveyorAI will now take instructions like "Use our docs to answer this one")
Increased transparency: Our Legacy pipeline always exposed the sources that the AI relied upon to generate its answer. But sometimes the sources don't tell the full story of why the AI gave the answer it did - or why it left an answer flagged. Agentic answers now have a "Reasoning" tab that explains how ConveyorAI arrived at its answer:

The "Reasoning" tab (f/k/a "Sources") will now show "Why this answer", as well as the sources cited and search terms used.

Superadmins and/or Knowledge Admins can try the new-and-improved engine in one of two ways.

In Settings, you can set the new Agentic pipeline as the default for the Proposal Questions of RFP projects. (Soon, you'll be able to set it as the default everywhere.)

👍 The Agentic pipeline has been battle-tested for Proposal Questions. (You may want to tone down your verbosity setting, as our new pipeline tends to be a bit more verbose.)

Or, for any "Test" one-off question (in-app), questionnaire, or RFP project, you'll now see an option to Use New Agentic Pipeline. This allows you to see for yourself what the new pipeline yields in an easy fashion.

Good things come to those who wait
You will notice that Conveyor's Agentic answer engine is slower than our legacy pipeline. That's because the Conveyor Agent plans out how to answer questionnaires start-to-finish before it begins drafting answers, and then reasons thoroughly through each answer.
That said, we are working on latency optimizations that will decrease the wait time per question and per questionnaire.

Is there any change to how my data is processed if I use the new Agentic pipeline?
Nope. There is no change to how your data is processed.

Is there any change to my cost or fee if I use the new Agentic pipeline?
Nope. The new Agentic pipeline is available with your current Conveyor subscription - no additional fee.

Will the Legacy pipeline remain available?
For the time being, you can use either pipeline. However, we will be migrating all customers to the Agentic pipeline in due course, and deprecating the Legacy pipeline.
