This feature was launched on July 19th, 2024. If you installed the Slack integration prior to that date, you will need to re-authenticate the integration to take advantage of the new features. Luckily, it only takes two clicks!

Head to your organization preferences , click the three dots by your Slack integration, then hit Update Credentials and Authenticate. You do not need to archive the integration in order to re-authenticate.

If your Slack org requires approvals for app installation, you'll need to go through the above steps to request approval, then complete the above steps a second time once the app has been approved.

With the Conveyor Slack app installed, just run mention @Conveyor to generate an answer within a public channel or the Conveyor app channel. ConveyorAI will attempt to identify distinct questions within your message, as well as the product lines to which your questions pertain (if applicable).

Organizations have the option to utilize safety thresholds which set the level of confidence required in order for Conv eyorAI to release answers to Slack. Admins are able to configure that safety threshold in the organization preferences menu. There, you can also configure which organization admins will be consulted when answers fall below the threshold.

Users are given the option of whether or not to reach out to an admin to release an answer. The admin can then determine whether to release or reject the answer.
